Exterior Grounds and Pool

The grounds are set 200 meters back from the main road that runs along the western coastline of Barbados. This makes it quieter and more private than most villas that are found along the coast.

The area is surrounded by lush tropically landscaped gardens and the natural backdrop of Mount Standfast. The swimming pool is set up against a natural coral stone alcove at the foot of Mount Standfast. It is a very private space where it’s not uncommon to see green monkeys playing in the trees. The pool is shared with the other 8 units at the Golden Acre development.

Alleynes Beach

Golden Acre is 250 meters from Alleynes beach. Alleynes is one of the most beautiful beaches in Barbados with some of the best snorkeling to be found on the island.

It takes 3 to 4 minutes to walk to the beach from the grounds. Alleynes is one of the longest beaches in Barbados at a bit less than 1km in length. Alleynes offers ideal swimming conditions with the warm, calm tropical waters of the Caribbean sea. It is a long sandy beach with 2 reefs to snorkel. It's also one of the best spots swim with the sea turtles. There are two beach bars located on Alleynes beach (Juju's and Santi) and also Lone Star Restaurant which offers a high end dining experience.

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom has been furnished with a king sized bed and a high efficiency air conditioner to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

A large walk out patio can be opened to enjoy the Caribbean breeze and a view of your surroundings. The walk-through closest has 2 built in wardrobes. There is a private ensuite bathroom with his and her sinks and a glass enclosed shower with a rain head.

Guest Bedrooms (Bedrooms 2 & 3)

There are two air conditioned guest bedrooms. Both are furnished with queen size beds and offer built in wardrobes.

The larger rear guest bedroom is equipped with a small desk and vanity table. The guest bedrooms share the main bathroom on the upper floor.

Living Room

The living room is air conditioned and is furnished with a large comfortable corner sofa that can easily seat the whole family.

High speed internet is connected to the 50” LED smart TV so you can stream your Netflix account, and there is an XBOX 360 with about 10 games along with a cable TV package. There is also a MP3 compatible stereo with an iPod connection and a line-in device.

Dining Room

The dining room is the central room of the open concept floor plan. It overlooks the kitchen and opens onto the living room and patio. It is furnished with a dining table for 6 people.

French doors open from the dining room into an outdoor living space with a large sectional sofa. This patio area serves as an outdoor room that is protected from rain and is a lovely and relaxing place to sit in and watch the birds (and the occasional monkey) at the rear of the home.

Guests are welcome to use the stainless propane BBQ on the rear patio of the home.

Kitchen

The kitchen if fully furnished and outfitted with everything you might need during your stay. There is an oven, ceramic cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, tea kettle, blender, pots, pans, and everything else you would expect in a gourmet kitchen.
